Following a thorough assessment of our medical oxygen requirements, Foxolution was able to provide us with an appropriate, SAHPRA approved PSA oxygen plant at our rural district hospital. The system provides medical grade oxygen as direct supply to patients, as well as cylinder filling capabilities that includes a large backup manifold of cylinders that allow the flexibility to run the plant as energy efficiently as possible. The flexibility of Foxolution to continue to adapt the plant to our changing requirements has been important to us. This has included customisations to the remote monitoring interface and the addition of power monitoring features that have allowed optimisation of electrical costs against supply needs.

Our experience with Foxolution was an entirely positive one. The project was executed during the pandemic which presented some very real logistical and supply chain challenges, all of which were successfully overcome. In addition the following points should be noted:-
The design process was very inclusive with input from the client being assimilated into the design and a ready transfer of knowledge between parties.
The quality of the equipment is exceptional and since installation there have been no significant equipment failures. Sourcing quality equipment in an oxygen environment was a key success factor for Umoya.
The equipment was pre-assembled at the factory and Umoya was part of the pre-delivery performance testing, which was conducted professionally and to specification.
Interaction by Foxolution with key client and end user personnel has been exceptional and productive relationships exist which promote optimal PSA usage. Continuous improvement to plant usage is supported by Foxolution.
Training in oxygen safety and safe plant operation, along with competency testing was provided by Foxolution to hospital staff.
The routine maintenance schedule has been rigorously adhered to.
The facility comes with a remote monitoring, data logging and diagnostic capability which supports Umoya in optimising efficiency and operating routines.
The design of the facility includes reserve and back-up storage capacity which has ensured continuous availability of oxygen to the patients, even during times of load shedding and other power supply interruptions.
The continuous availability of oxygen has allowed the hospital to improve medical outcomes.
Data collection to date shows a significant reduction in oxygen cost to the hospital compared to cylinder deliveries.
The quality of personnel deployed by Foxolution onto the project was top drawer, with an excellent work ethic and going the extra mile to ensure we have a successful project.

To whom it may concern.
In 2023 I was the package engineer for the procurement, installation and commissioning of a 2nd hand VPSA plant to be re-erected on the client’s premises. A new oxygen compressor would also be required to feed the base-metal refinery expansion.
As my colleagues and I are not experts on oxygen compressors nor on the design of a safe explosion proof compressor room, we engaged Foxolutions to assist in the compressor house design as well as the procurement of a suitable oxygen compressor and the commissioning of the new plant including sterile workshop facilities.
In addition, we requested them to critically review our re-erected design of the VPSA plant layout on our client’s premises and to oversee the specialized inspection and commissioning of the complete re-erected plant.
I was immediately impressed by Foxolution knowledge of the VPSA process, optimum safe layout of the new VPSA plant building and the design of the new compressor house meeting AIGA 048/18.
Unfortunately, the client put the project on hold at its design stage.
